Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will reportedly move for Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, should David de Gea leave the club for Real Madrid this summer.

De Gea is understood to be closing in on a move to Real Madrid, having already met up with Los Blancos\' officials over the past week.

According to The Mirror, Van Gaal has been advised by the club\'s scouts to move in for his fellow Dutch counterpart Cillessen, if De Gea seals his transfer to Los Blancos in the summer.

Cillessen was part of Van Gaal\'s Dutch side that reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in Brazil last summer.
