Saints want £15m for Clyne

Southampton holding out for £15m for Clyne

19 June 2015 - 02:33

Southampton are unlikely to offload their star defender Nathaniel Clyne for anything less than £15m this summer.

  • Chelsea winger suffers head injury vs Nottingham Forest
  • Man Utd star preparing farewell video ahead of transfer

  • The England international is expected to leave the Saints in the upcoming transfer window, with the Hampshire outfit having signed Cedric Soares from Sporting Lisbon as his potential replacement.

Reports now cite that the Saints are well aware that Clyne will seek a move away from St.Mary's in the summer, but will not allow his sale unless a club matches their £15m asking price.

Liverpool are believed to be the only club in the race to sign the talented right-back.
