Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Manuel Reina has admitted that although Atletico Madrid is a club he very much loves, he has no interest in leaving Anfield any time soon. Pepe Reina also admitted he was flattered by the link.
"It (Atletico) is a club that I love," Jose Reina told AS. "In addition to other things it is for family reasons.
"For me it is flattering to be linked with Atletico. But right now it is not one of my goals to change.
"It is a club which I have a special love for, I cannot deny it. My father played there and I have many friends at Atletico. I have a fondness and Madrid is a great city.
"I like Atletico, but I have a contract with Liverpool and I am very happy at this club. Right now there is no reason for change."
