Abou Diaby in talks with Dallas

Former Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby is in talks over a move to Major League Soccer with FC Dallas.

The France international was released by the Gunners having barely featured for the club in recent seasons.

Diaby was expected to remain in North London on a pay-as-you-play contract, but The Mirror cites that the Frenchman will look to seek a fresh challenge this summer.

The 29-year-old is ready to begin a new phase of his career in Texas, as clubs seek to sign him for a Bosman fee.

Diaby made 182 appearances for the North London giants between 2006 and 2015.
