Galatasaray sign Lukas Podolski from Arsenal

Turkish giants Galatasaray have completed the signing of Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski on a three-year deal for a reported fee of £2.86m.

The German international has a medical earlier today ahead of his switch to the Istanbul outfit.

The 30-year-old fell out-of-favour at the Emirates last season, and plyed the second half of the campaign on loan with Inter Milan.

Podolski, who has been capped 125 times by Germany, spent the last three years at the Gunners, helping them break their nine-year trophy drought by winning the FA Cup in 2014.
