Italian international midfielder Andrea Pirlo has signed for New York City. The 36-year-old has signed a contract with the MLS side.
Pirlo will link up with Frank Lampard and David Villa in a new look side and will be the American league's top paid player. Pirlo had been allowed to leave Juventus on a free transfer, despite still having a year left to run on his current deal in Turin.
