England international James Milner has revealed that manager Brendan Rodgers wants him to ply his trade in the central midfield role next season.
The talented midfielder joined the Reds on a free transfer from Manchester City following the expiry of his contract over the summer.
Milner struggled to make most of his opportunities at the Etihad, as he was forced to play in the wider areas for much of the campaign.
However, Milner is now content to play centrally for the Reds in the upcoming campaign, as he feels he could offer more from that position.
