Arsenal look favourites to sign up France international Karim Benzema from Real Madrid this summer.
The talented marksman has been linked with a move to the Emirates since his Lyon days.
Benzema is not regarded as a fans' favourites at the Bernabeu, and the club's hierarchy are understood be pondering over the player's sale during the current transfer window.
