Feyenoord have reportedly omitted midfielder Jordy Clasie from a pre-season friendly following serious interest from a Premier League club.

The Netherlands international has been linked with a switch to the English top tier over the past month with the likes of Southampton and Manchester United keen on landing his signature.

The Express cites that Feyenoord have given up on keeping their asset and will allow his sale to a mysterious Premier League club this summer.

It is added that the Saints could be the mystery side as they seek to bring in a replacement for Red Devils bound Morgan Schneiderlin.
