Major League Soccer side Orlando City are looking at the possibility of signing up Manchester United outcast Javier Hernandez in the summer transfer window.
The Mexican international is deemed surplus to requirements at United, and is expected to be offloaded this summer.
According to Orlando Sentinel, Orlando City owner Flavio Augusto da Silva has confirmed that the club are in negotiations to sign up the talented forward.
“Regarding Chicharito, of course he’s a great player that every club in the world would love to have and we’d love the chance to have him,” he said.
“Right now we don’t have anything done, and you know during the process of negotiations – where many clubs have interest, including us, because why not – the less we talk about it the better. So we’ll see if there is a possibility and then we’ll move forward."
Hernandez spent last season on loan at Real Madrid.
