Sunderland approach for Younes Kaboul

Black Cats seek to bring in Kaboul

Sunderland approach for Younes Kaboul

16 July 2015 - 10:16

Sunderland have contacted Tottenham Hotspur over the availability of defender Younes Kaboul following their failure to sign Nicolas Lombaerts.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • The Belgian defender was expected to make his way to the Wearside this summer, having seen both clubs agree on a transfer fee.

However, the 30-year-old snubbed the opportunity to join the Black Cats during the transfer window.

The Times now claims that Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat has told the club's officials to discuss a deal for Spurs centre-back Younes Kaboul.

Kaboul's future at White Hart Lane is in doubt following the arrival of Kevin Wimmers from FC Koln.
