Arsenal could end their search for a new striker by acquiring the services of Edin Dzeko from Manchester City this summer.
The Bosnian international is expected to be offloaded during the current transfer window, as he is deemed surplus to requirements.
Roma have been associated with a move for the former Wolfsburg star, but The Star claims that the Gunners have turned their attention to the talented hitman.
Dzeko, who has been a proven goal scorer in the Premier League, is believed to be keen on staying in England for the upcoming campaign.
City currently value Dzeko at around £16m.
