Barcelona could be set to complete a shock move for Man City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel. The Danish keeper has fallen out of favour at Man City behind Joe Hart and Andreas Isakkson.
Despite starting the season playing regularly for Man City, Joe Hart has since come in and performed admirably.
It appears that Man City could be prepared to let the keeper go either on loan or if their price is met, which is believed to be £3 million.
Barcelona are on the look out for a backup goalkeeper for Victor Valdes, and Schmeichel may be the ideal opportunity at such a young age.
In the past few weeks Barcelona have been linked with several names including Cech and Canizares, but both are deemed unattainable.
