Cameroon international midfielder Alex Song is back in Spain discussing his future with club Barcelona. West Ham have offered a fee to bring the defensive star back to East London on a permanent deal.
Song had a mixed season whilst on loan at Upton Park during the 2014-2015 campaign but new manager Slaven Bilic wants to bring in the former Arsenal midfielder for another year.
Barca have already rejected a reported 8.5 million euro bid from the Hammers, with the club pushing for as much as 12 million euros before discussions will even begin.
West Ham are operating on a limited budget this summer though and are rumoured to have told Barcelona that they will not spend any more than 10 million to snap up the powerful anchorman.
