Manchester United have denied making a club-record offer for German international Thomas Muller.
Reports in Germany had cited that the Mancunian giants had made a £70m bid to sign up the World Cup winner in the summer transfer window.
However, United's hierarchy have come out and dismissed claims insisting that they have not made any kind of offer for the talented forward.
Muller has spent his entire career with the Bavarian giants, but is understood to be open to the prospect of testing himself in another major European league .
