Chelsea to offload Mohamed Salah

Egyptian international Mohamed Salah is expected to join Italian giants AS Roma on a season-long loan, with a view to a permanent deal at the end of next season.

The talented winger has never really made his name at Stamford Bridge since his move from Basel in January 2014.

Reports in Italy cite that the Blues have agreed to loan out the 23-year-old to Roma for an initial fee of around £1m, with an obligation for a permanent £14m switch further down the line.

Salah spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina, where he scored nine goals in 26 outings.
