The Uruguayan international has been associated with a move to Old Trafford in recent months, although his agent has insisted that he is content at Les Parisiens.

According to The Star, Cavani is still keen on a switch to the Red Devils, but he would have to submit a transfer request first to force through any kind of move.

Cavani has often played behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic since his move from Napoli two seasons ago.
