Liverpool are ready to go head-to-head with Manchester United for the signature of Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller.
The German champions have been adamant that the 25-year-old will remain at the club for the upcoming season, in spite of interest from the Premier League.
A report from The Mirror cites that the Reds are ready to battle with United for the German international, should he be available in the transfer window.
