Liverpool join Man Utd in Thomas Muller chase

Liverpool are ready to go head-to-head with Manchester United for the signature of Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller.

The German champions have been adamant that the 25-year-old will remain at the club for the upcoming season, in spite of interest from the Premier League.

A report from The Mirror cites that the Reds are ready to battle with United for the German international, should he be available in the transfer window.

Muller scored 21 goals in 48 appearances for the Bavarian giants last term.
