Manchester United are unlikely to get a deal done for Barcelona star Pedro before the start of the new league season.
Recent reports have suggested that the Red Devils are open to matching the Pedro's £22m release clause, after the player agreed personal terms over the proposed transfer.
However, Barca has clearly stated that they will not offload the talented forward before the Super Cup, with the likes of Neymar, and Lionel Messi still on vacation.
Barcelona will play league rivals Sevilla in the Super Cup at the Dinamo Arena on August 11.
