French side Lyon are closing in on a summer move for Manchester United outcast Rafael da Silva.
The Brazilian right-back is clearly not in the plans of manager Louis van Gaal, after the Dutchman brought in Matteo Darmian from Torino as a back-up for Antonio Valencia this summer.
According to L'Equipe, Rafael could well make way from Old Trafford next week, with Ligue 1 giants Lyon close to sealing a cut-price deal for his signature.
Rafael joined the Red Devils from Fluminense in 2008.
