Southampton have reportedly make a formal offer for Celtic defender Virgin van Dijk.
The Netherlands international has previously attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.
According to The Sun, Saints boss Ronald Koeman believes the offer is a fair one, as the central defender is unavailable for European competition after he featured for the Scottish champions in the Champions League qualifiers.
Van Dijk scored 10 goals in 58 outings for the Hoops last term.
