Swansea City boss Garry Monk has revealed that the club are ready to offload Spanish forward Michu during this summer's transfer window.

The 29-year-old made his mark in his first season at the Liberty Stadium where he notched up 22 goals in all competition.

However, he has since then struggled to replicate his form, and was loaned out to Napoli last term, where he managed just three league appearances due to a succession of injury problems.

Monk has now revealed that the club are searching for a new club for the one-time Spain international.

Former club Rayo Vallecano have expressed interested in signing up the out-of-favour forward.
