05 August 2015 - 07:43

Netherlands international Jasper Cillessen has insisted that he is focused on staying at Ajax for the new season.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Dutch shot-stopper has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League, with United boss Louis van Gaal keen on landing his services, should David de Gea make way to Real Madrid before the closure of the transfer window.

However, the 26-year-old has now admitted that he is content at Ajax. and would not be lured into a summer move to Old Trafford.

"Five years ago, when I was playing for NEC (it would have been), because NEC to United is a very big step." he told De Telegraaf.

"(Right now) I'm completely focused on Ajax."

United have already brought in a new goalkeeper in Sergio Romero on a free transfer this summer.
