Manchester United will look to seal a summer deal for Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin, according to reports.
The Citizens have had a terrible pre-season by their standards, and manager Manuel Pellegrini will seek to bring in a new central defender before the closure of the transfer window.
According to The Mail, the Mancunian giants have identified Atleti's Godin as the perfect fit to alleviate their pre-season troubles.
Godin currently has a £28m release clause in his contract.
