Man Utd boss speaks out on David de Gea\'s future

08 August 2015 - 09:46

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has insisted that Real Madrid have yet to make an appreciable bid for star goalkeeper David de Gea.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • The Spain international has been tipped to leave United for the La Liga giants during this summer's transfer window.

However, Van Gaal has revealed that the club have yet to receive a realistic offer for the unsettled shot-stopper.

"No, I don't think so," he told Sky Sports News."We are asking money and they have to pay money. In recent years Manchester United have paid a lot of money on players and not received a lot for our players. He's the best goalkeeper we've had for the last three years, I believe."

The 24-year-old joined the Red Devils from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011.
