Man Utd fail with GOALKEEPER BID

08 August 2015 - 17:49

Manchester United have reportedly had a &pound25m bid rebuffed for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

  • Man Utd expecting €80m boost with double player sale
  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Galatasaray, Salah starts

  • The Red Devils are understood to be keen on a signing another top-class goalkeeper, in spite of recruiting Sergio Romero on a free transfer from Sampdoria earlier this summer.

According to Spanish publication Marca, manager Louis van Gaal had made a formal bid for Slovenian international and Atleti number one Jan Oblak, with David de Gea's future at Old Trafford still uncertain.

It is added that the Basque outfit have swiftly rejected the offer as they are not willing to lose their main players ahead of the new season.
