Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that the club are no close to signing a new striker this summer.

It has been recently speculated that Spurs were on the verge of sealing a deal for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.

However, Pochettino has now revealed that his side have yet to make a concrete offer for any of their summer targets.

Spurs are currently placed 14th in the Premier League with a solitary point.
