Southampton have revealed that they have not received any offer from Manchester United for winger Sadio Mane.

It had been reported earlier that the Red Devils had decided to make a move for the Senegalese international, after top target Pedro opted to join Chelsea.

However, the Daily Echo cites that the South Coast outfit have not received any concrete offer from the Mancunian giants, but are bracing themselves for a formal approach in the coming days.

Mane joined the Saints from Red Bull Salzburg for &pound10m last summer.
