Manchester United could get their hands one of Europe's finest forwards, according to reports.
The Red Devils are reported to have made a club-record bid of £59.8m. for Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller.
Muller had earlier rejected speculation over a move to Old Trafford, but the Star cites that the World Cup winner is keen on a switch to the English club, who are ready to offer a weekly wage structure of around £250,000.
It is added that Bayern Munich are most likely to keep hold of their star asset, unless he offers a transfer request in the coming days.
United have already acquired the services of midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger from the Bavarian side this summer.
