The Kenyan international has been a key member in the Saints' setup since his move from Celtic in 2012.

According to The Mail, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen on signing up a new holding midfielder, and considers Wanyama as the perfect fit for the role.

It is also understood that the North London outfit will come up with a formal bid for the talented enforcer in the coming days.
