Chelsea have tabled a world-record bid for Juventus sensation Paul Pogba, according to reports.
The France international left Manchester United for the Old Lady in 2012, and has since become one of Europe's most sought midfielders.
According to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, the Premier League holders have tabled a bid of around £86m, which would break the previous record set by Gareth Bale's transfer to Real Madrid in 2013.
The Blues have been busy seeking fresh recruits in the transfer window, having already acquired the services of Baba Rahman and Pedro this week.
