The Brazilian international has been in good form for Sao Paolo on loan from his parent club Corinthians.

A report from The Telegraph reports that United have held talks with Corinthians over a &pound10.9m deal for the 25-year-old.

Premier League clubs Chelsea, Stoke City and Sunderland are also believed to be in the race to sign the talented marksman.
