Man Utd open to Alexandre Pato move

Manchester United are believed to have held talks over the possibility of signing former AC Milan star Alexandre Pato before the transfer deadline.

The Brazilian international has been in good form for Sao Paolo on loan from his parent club Corinthians.

A report from The Telegraph reports that United have held talks with Corinthians over a £10.9m deal for the 25-year-old.

Premier League clubs Chelsea, Stoke City and Sunderland are also believed to be in the race to sign the talented marksman.
