Arsenal are not keen on a summer deal for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to reports.
It had been speculated earlier that the Gunners were keen on signing up the Uruguayan international, after they gave up on Real Madrid star Karim Benzema.
However, French journalist Pierre Menes has poured cold water on the claims by insisting that Arsene Wenger had never shown interest in signing up the former Napoli man.
"To be clear Arsene Wenger never wanted Cavani. What a surprise..." he tweeted.
Gunners have only made one signing in goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea this summer.
