West Ham to loan Alessandro Matri

AC Milan striker Alessandro Matri has agreed a season-long loan with Premier League side West Ham United, according to reports.

The Hammers have been on the look out for a new striker following injuries to Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia during pre-season.

Sky Italia reports that the experienced striker will make way to Upton Park on loan after being convinced by Milan chief Adriano Galliani.

The 31-year-old plyed his trade on loan at Genoa and Juventus last term.
