Real Madrid are expected to announce the signing of goalkeeper David de Gea from Manchester United in the next 24 hours.
The Spain international has been strongly tipped to join the La Liga giants since the start of the transfer window.
Independent claims that Los Blancos officials will head to Manchester to seal a £29m deal for the 24-year-old, who has already agreed personal terms with the club.
It is added that Real have no plans of adding Gareth Bale to the deal, and Ajax shot-stopper Jasper Cillessen is being lined up as a suitable replacement by United boss Louis van Gaal.
