Chelsea are on the cusp of landing the services of defender Michael Hector from Reading.
The Blues have shown keen desire to strengthen their backline having already recruited the likes of Baba Rahman and Papy Djilobodji.
Hector has been a regular for the Royals in the Championship, and Sky Sports News reports that Jose Mourinho's side are closing in on a £4m deal for the Jamaica international.
The 23-year-old made 41 league appearances for the Royals last term.
