Brazilian international Fernandinho is content with Manchester City's excellent start to the Premier League season.
The Citizens were predicted to have a tough start to the campaign following lacklustre performances during pre-season.
However, Fernandinho is now delighted that the club are proving critics wrong as they bid to wrestle the title away from league rivals Chelsea.
"Some people made a bad decision.They don't know what is happening inside the team, inside the club," he told The Mirror.
"They don't see we are working hard every single day - we have two sessions some days, and most Premier League teams don't do that.
"We are doing that and I hope it means that we will end as champions, but there is a long way to go."
City are the only side to have not conceded a goal in the league this season.
