The 19-year-old joined the La Liga side in 2011, and has since then scored five goals in 37 league outings for the club.

The Mirror understands that the Premier League duo have sent scouts to track the player's progress over the next few months.

It is added that the youngster has a £7.5m buyout clause in his contract. which expires at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

Ceballos has earned three caps with the Spanish Under-21 side.
