Norwegian sensation Martin Odegaard has revealed that he had spoken with several Premier League clubs before his switch to Real Madrid.

The 16-year-old is understood to have held talks with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City before deciding on his dream move to the Bernabeu last year.

He added that the Capital outfit were his preferred choice as it is the best place to become a better footballer.

Odegaard currently plys his trade for Real Madrid's Castilla side.
