Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has revealed that Manchester United had never come up with a concrete offer following initial enquiries over his availability in the summer.

The 28-year-old had been associated with a possible move to Old Trafford amid speculation that David de Gea was working on a transfer to Real Madrid.

However, United kept hold of De Gea and this ended the club's pursuit of Lloris.

"I am happy to string together matches with my club. The interest of Manchester United? There could have been a development but there was none. Although much has been written, I must stay focused." he told beIN Sport.

Lloris joined Spurs from Ligue 1 side Lyon in the summer of 2012.
