Newcastle United are reportedly monitoring the performances of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
The France international was constantly linked with a move to the Premier League, until he signed a new long-term deal with the Ligue 1 giants.
According to The People, Magpies chief scout Graham Carr was spotted in the stands during Lyon's Champions League draw against Belgian side Gent in midweek.
Lacazette has yet to open his goal-scoring account for the current campaign.
