The Brazil international has been linked with a switch to Spain in the New Year, after the Reds made yet another slow start to their league campaign.

However, agent Kia Joorabchian has revealed that the 23-year-old is extremely happy at Merseyside, and will not seek a transfer away from the Reds in January.

\"Philippe is extremely happy at Liverpool. He signed a new long term contract towards the end of last season that represents his ambition and his feeling for Liverpool,\" he told reporters.

Coutinho\'s current deal at Liverpool expires in the summer of 2020.
