Manchester United will reportedly reinstall their interest in Southampton winger Sadio Mane in the New Year.
The Senegalese international joined the Saints from Red Bull Salzburg in 2014, and has since then played a crucial role in the club's progress.
United were thought to be keen on the 23-year-old forward over the summer, but the Saints were not eager to offload their star asset.
However, Manchester Evening News now understands that the Red Devils will come up with a tempting offer for the African star when the transfer window reopens in January.
Mane was the star performer as he scored and assisted in his side's 3-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
