Manchester United are looking at the prospect of signing Porto star Bruno Martins Indi as a potential replacement for out-of-favour defender Marcos Rojo.
Rojo is widely expected to make way from Old Trafford in the New Year with Italian side Napoli interested in his services.
According to Manchsester Evening News, manager Louis van Gaal has made up his mind to sign his fellow counterpart in Martins Indi as he seeks to bring more solidity to the club's backline.
The 23-year-old is known as a hard tackler and his arrival could well provide a commanding head in the defensive setup.
