Manchester United are reportedly considering the prospect of signing young Belgian sensation Youri Tielemans in the winter transfer window.
The 18-year-old came through the youth ranks at Anderlecht and is now a regular in the first-team setup.
Tielemans impressed during his Champions League campaign with Anderlecht last season, and this has attracted interest from a whole host of clubs in Europe.
According to The Mail, the Red Devils are leading the chase for the young teenager, with manager Louis van Gaal ready to sanction a move in the New Year.
It is added that United consider Tielemans as a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick.
The young midfielder is fast closing in on 100 appearances for the Belgian giants.
