Zaza on Spurs radar

Tottenham Hotspur scouting Simone Zaza

22 October 2015 - 17:53

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on Juventus hotshot Simone Zaza.

  • Chelsea star to miss FA Cup final with hamstring injury
  • Chelsea to move for Bendegúz Kovács?
  • The Italy international returned to the Old Lady from Sassuolo over the summer, and has since then been behind the likes of Alvaro Morata, Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala for the striker's job.

Zaza had been linked with a loan move to Spurs' rivals Arsenal over the summer, but Juve were keen on keeping hold of their player as a back-up option.

However, Zaza has since then struggled for game-time, and this has led to the perception that he could move elsewhere in search of regular first-team football.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport now claims that Spurs have been closely monitoring the 24-year-old, and a winter move could be in the offing.

Spurs are still on the look out for a new centre-forward who could relieve the burden on star striker Harry Kane.
