Arsenal have been told to forget thoughts of signing Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam in the near future, according to reports.
The Algerian international made a slow start to his career at Naples, but he is now considered as the undisputed first-choice for the left-back role.
It has been recently claimed that the Gunners could eye a winter deal for the 24-year-old, with Arsene Wenger keen on adding sufficient back-up on the left side of defence.
However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is said to have dismissed an approach from the Gunners as his side aim to turn their season into a grand success, Corriere del Mezzogiorno claims.
Napoli are currently fourth in Serie A, two points off leaders Fiorentina.
