Southampton sensation Sadio Mane is reportedly topping Manchester United's shortlist for the winter transfer window.
The Senegalese international had been on United's radar over the summer, but the Saints were not willing to offload their star man.
According to The Mail, United will seek to revive their interest in the talented attacker in January, with van Gaal focused on recruiting players with speed and creativity.
The report adds that Lazio's Felipe Anderson and Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez are also on the transfer shortlist.
